leben seit 25 Jahren in dieser Wohnung und gestalten sie mit allem was
zum Leben gehört.

Sie leben auch weiterhin hier und integrieren die Galerie in den 50 qm
Flur, das Herzstück der Wohnung.
In
the middle of Germany, in Kassel, home of the Documenta, at Bebelplatz,
where the sun rises and where it sets behind the statue of Hercules, in
a house built at the beginning of the 20th century, on the second floor
on the right,
you will find the gallery ART-PRIVAT.
Public and private, international and domestic, the gallery will display
works of art in unorthodox rooms where surprisingly normal people live.
Till Mertens and Nora von der Decken, lovers and artists, have been living
in this flat for 25 years, filling it with all aspects of everyday life:
composing music, changing nappies, talking on the phone, cooking, painting,
playing, selling things and thinking. They are still living here and will
integrate the gallery into the 50m2 hallway, the centre-piece of the apartment.
